Fire dune on Vlieland

The Vlieland lighthouse is officially called Vuurduin, it is located on the Vuurboetsduin. The tower is popularly called 'the red gnome'. Logical, because the tower itself is only 16.8 meters high. However, the dune it stands on is 42 meters high, which makes the tower appear 54 meters above sea level.
