Wooden cutting board with city tower

This 79 meter high red tower is the only one in the Netherlands with this special color. He has not always been red, also yellow and white. During the last restoration in 1984 it was made red again.

The tower was painted in the Middle Ages to protect the marlstone against weather influences. The paint was made from marl parts that were soaked with iron ore, the result was an oxblood-colored paint.

With our laser, the tower is cut into a solid oak or ash plank. Each shelf has a unique look!
